Cold snap

Chilly weather has returned and so have the snapdragons as they are coming out again in numbers. We will be sending out seasonal bunches in all colours from white through yellow, orange, pinks to the deep purples. This week, we have gone retro style as we have chosen one of the most popular flowers of the 1950’s. They are enjoying a revival in the last 2 years and their bright and distinctive colours and long spikes of flowers fill a vase with life. Their spikes can look both classic and pretty or in coloured glass, they can take on the full effect of 50’s chic. Children love them because they can squeeze open the flowers like a mouth - the dragon's snap...

Oriental lilies from Victoria are also in the height of their season so large bunches in pink, white or yellow will be on offer this week as the $30 classic bunch.

Long stemmed roses are still beautiful this week and may be ordered as a premium bunch from $40.

Enjoy !
