Gypsy flowers
Gypsy is the romantic name for this week’s seasonal bunch selection. Grown in Toowoomba, these dark pink flowers make a beautiful bunch with their frilly petals. Their full name is dianthus which comes from the Greek words dios(“god”) and anthos (“flower”). Related to carnations and sweet William, they are sweetly old fashioned with a modern application as they are the inspiration for current fabric designs.
Also in dark pink, this week’s $30 bunch will be Oriental lilies. Dark pink all through, they are grown in Northen NSW and their perfume is heady. The $40 bunch will be white roses, a mix of spray roses and regular white roses – very elegant and pretty.
If you would like to place an order for some dark pink or pretty delivered to you this week, just email your requests through to info@fridayflowers.com.au
