Despite the monochromatic picture, daisies will be arriving in white or pink this Friday for delivery as the seasonal bunch. In China, yellow and white varieties of chrysanthemum are boiled to make a sweet tea used to cure the flu. I don’t recommend you try it with this week’s bunch but for anyone with a cold, a vaseful of these in their house would certainly cheer them up. Short stemmed roses are lovely at the moment and are the $30 bunch for this week with a $40 option of oriental lilies with flowering peach blossom branches. Some early spring blossoms to brighten the weekend.
