Disbuds resemble dahlias or oversized spider chrysanthemums in appearance with their large heads and unusually shaped petals. Originally from China, their sculptured shape resembles the flowers we see in the Oriental style wallpapers and fabrics that are popular at the moment. They range in colours from white, yellow through to pastel pink and are particularly pretty at the moment. Importantly, they hold up well in the heat ! Like all flowers, it is important to regularly re-cut the stems and refresh the vase water to ensure they can be enjoyed for as long as possible.
