Star bright

$20 Bunch:  The name Aster is derived from the Latin meaning "star". These pretty garden flowers are long stemmed with a mass of petals around a yellow centre. They are documented to have existed since the Middle Ages and it was thought that burning their leaves would drive away serpents - which would be handy if the rain had not already driven them away. Asters grow in pink, white and purple and we are excited to see the flowers from this new grower. Asters symbolise love and daintiness and a bunch of stars in our homes this week is sure to brighten the grey skies.

$25 Bunch:  Oriental lilies are a perennial favourite as their scent and clean lines bring elegance to our homes. These are available in Pink or White.

$30 Bunch:  Lisianthus are longer-lasting flowers with wide ruffled, delicate petals. They come in white, various shades of pink, lavender, and deep purple.
