Recently we went to (and supplied the flowers for!) the launch of Brisbane's newest coffee business, Elixir coffee, to sample the time-honoured secret coffee blends of David and Jason Narciso. A new business but old in experience as their Mum, Carmel Narciso, owned Brisbane's first coffee roasting house, Cosmopolitan cafe, over 15 years ago. The "Elixir Boys", as they are affectionately known in the industry, select and roast the beans themselves at their Stafford premises.
Selected by "Delicious" magazine as the featured coffee on their stand at the recent Noosa Food and Wine Festival and at Melbourne's Food and Wine Festival, the Elixir Boys do have the magic elixir. Such excitement for the Brisbane coffee scene !
Oh, and wouldn't it be great to get fresh beans delivered to your home each Friday along with your flowers...watch this space!
