Garden Hydrangea

Lovely garden hydrangea are the seasonal bunch selection this week. It might be a nostalgic or romantic choice as they were the flowers in my sister’s bouquet at her Sydney wedding last weekend or maybe it’s their cool blue colour and old fashioned charm but their lovely mop like heads will fill a vase beautifully. Their pretty petals are in fact more like leaves and if yours should begin to wilt in the heat, turning them upside down in water allowing them to drink through the leaves should successfully revive them. Bunches are just $20 (not including delivery). The $30 bunch this week is white Oriental lilies with cypress as Christmas greenery. The $40 bunch is also lilies with cypress and holly.

If you would like some floral Christmas cheer for your home this week, email your requests through to info@fridayflowers.com.au. Next week will be the last for 2011 as we break for the holidays and heat, returning at the end of January. There will also be Christmas packages of greenery and flowers available for delivery on the 23rd ready for your big day. Details to follow at the start of next week. Don’t forget to get your orders in for foodie gifts and the gorgeous glass hanging vases ready to send to friends, clients or to enjoy on your table.
