It’s all a bit dark and moody this week as these lovely red celosia arriving from a Bundaberg grower ready for deliveries this week. Their velvety heads are tactile and their tall stems are elegant. With stems like rhubarb and grown as a vegetable in South America, they are unusual and beautiful displayed in a vase.
While not as dramatic as black dahlias, there are lovely fresh dahlias arriving as the $30 bunch. They are beautiful and there are more appearing each week. The $40 bunch this week is long stemmed red roses. Dark red heads on dark green stems, they are a classic choice and ready to warm up this gloomy weather.
