“Fireworks” are a much more romantic name than the colloquial “pincushions”. Cordifolum have been selected this week as the seasonal bunch. With their dark green leaves and long stems, they are colourful, dramatic and just pleasing to look at. The $30 selection this week is a different theme altogether as it is a large bunch of fragrant hyacinth as they are starting to appear in numbers. For the $40 bunch, it will be iris and 20 stems of them as they are glorious on their own but en masse ……. very luxurious.
