Beautiful beautiful peonies – it would not feel like November without these beautiful frilly flowers. The photo above was taken 4 Novembers ago – I did the flowers for a tea at La La Latrobe – and as these precious blooms have such a short season, they are definitely one of those flowers that mark time. Grown in both Tasmania and Victoria, as this week’s $20 seasonal bunch, it is a treat to have them in the home. Those classic favourites, gladioli, are the $30 bunch selection – they really are elegant stems and are appearing in some gorgeous colours at the moment. The clean and simple lines of arum lilies are so appealing and they are the $40 bunch choice for this week.
