Lisianthus and Dahlias

This week as the flowers are snapped up by florists for Valentines day, I have managed to secure some lisianthus and some dahlias. Both are extremely beautiful and lisianthus will be the seasonal bunch choice for just $20. Long stemmed lisianthus in bunches of white or purple are full with pretty petals. They are also know as prairie roses as you can imagine they look like they belong in a field. Cut short and in a vase on your bedside table or left long in a vase, they are pretty and elegant (either way, don't forget to cut their stems when arranging in a vase and re cut and freshen water every few days to extend their vase life).
